(Below you will find provisional details of this brand new annual Register event.
Details may be subject to change.)

Come and enjoy a relaxing weekend of touring and socializing
among old friends and new in the magnificently beautiful Dales,
a hidden corner of England where heaven meets earth.

Entry form - coming soon
(There will be NO entry fee for the weekend)

The timeless village of Romaldkirk lies at the foot of glorious Teesdale and will be the weekend's headquarters.
Few English villages have been touched less by the twentieth century.

Welcome to our inaugural Northern Weekend, where our northern members will have the opportunity
to show the rest of us that it isn't all satanic mills 'oop north!

Far from the madding crowd, the weekend will be centered Romaldkirk, Teesdale, nestled under high moorland fells.
Its waterfalls, wooded valleys and wide-open moorland fells provide the perfect surroundings for enjoying the dale's peaceful tranquility.
With its dramatic scenery and magnificent views, Teesdale's natural attractions are many and varied.
Follow in the footsteps of Oliver Cromwell, Charles Dickens, Sir Walter Scott, JMW Turner ... and Bill Bryson
to places with names like High Force, Stang Foot and Cauldron Snout.

Below we hope you will find all the information you need to make your weekend a most enjoyable one.
If you have any questions, or need any further information or help in booking your accommodation,
simply e-mail the Register.

(For our European members, the Northern Weekend will take place geographically and timewise between
our Summer Rally/Pre-War Prescott over the preceding weekend, and The Roayl Edinburgh Military Tattoo which starts on 3rd August.)
